Dr. Aric J. Eckhardt
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Aric Eckhardt, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University where he lettered in football, was named to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After receiving his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1992, he moved to Philadelphia, where his post-graduate training was performed at several prestigious east coast university hospitals. He completed a general surgery residency at the combined Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospitals residency program. This was followed by a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Temple University Hospital. During his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Eckhardt received additional training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, which is widely recognized as one of the top cancer centers in the world. While there, he worked with some of the foremost plastic surgeons in the country.

Upon completing his training, Dr. Eckhardt relocated to the Illinois, Quad City area in 1999. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2000, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Catholic Medical Association. Dr. Eckhardt is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Eckhardt provides comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgery care, performing a wide array of both surgical and non-surgical procedures. Always striving to improve, Dr. Eckhardt stays up to date on current medical literature and frequently attends national conferences for physicians and plastic surgeons. Jen is very involved in the day to day operations. She is usually the first person who enters the practice in the morning and always one of the last to leave. She handles insurance-related matters and pre-certifications, she oversees all account payable and receivables and is the person to go to when you have questions regarding the different financing options available at our practice.

Her 25 years in the medical field, desire to succeed, and love of her husband of 31 years is what keeps her going strong. They have 2 beautiful daughters, and 4 grandchildren. Two of her other great qualities are her will to stay positive and her competitive spirit which help to ensure your experience is always a success!

Olivia Rivera
Medical Assistant

Olivia is our surgery scheduler/medical assistant as well as our fill in for absolutely any role needed on any given day. She has been with Dr. Eckhardt MD for over 17 years. She works with Dr. Eckhardt’s patients to help them achieve their goals and navigate them through their surgical procedures preoperatively and postoperatively. She is very knowledgeable in answering patients’ questions, scheduling surgeries, and assisting Dr. Eckhardt MD during the examination of his patients. She believes the best part of her job is seeing her patients’ smiles after their transformation.

When she is not at the office, she loves watching crime TV, spending time with her grandson Ozius, and supporting her 3 beautiful and talented children, Octavia, Nathalia, and Romeo.

Emily Bush
Certified Medical Assistant

Emily is new to the medical field, graduating from Blackhawk College in 2022. She acted as in intern in our office while earning her Medical Assistant certification. She is now a full time Medical Assistant to Dr. Eckhardt MD. You can usually find Emily ready to answer patient inquiries, removing sutures, performing patient intakes, and assisting Dr. Eckhardt MD during patient exams. She has always had a passion for helping people look and feel their best.

Araceli Mancera
Patient Care Coordinator/Certified Medical Assistant

Arcy is the personal liaison for all insurance matters and patient concerns, she joined our team in October of 2022. She has been in the medical field for 14 years as a medical assistant and regularly maintains her certifications . She is the first face that greets patients when they walk into the suite. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. When she does have free time, you can find her on the Medical Spa side of the suite learning about the services offered there. She is ready to answer any patient inquiries for both sides of our practice.
